For generations, we’ve dedicated ourselves to wine — a mission that we perceive as a responsibility, a challenge, and a passion all at once.

Our family has been involved with viticulture for more than 300 years.

„The roots of our estate reach well back into the 17th century. The love for the vines and the wines are the common thread through the centuries.“

The precise date is lost to history, not least because church records from that period were destroyed in the War of Palatinate Succession and the pillaging that followed under General Melác. It can be said with certainty that the roots of our estate reach well back into the 17th century.

One cherished relic from this age is the estate house in Nieder-Flörsheim, built around 1600. Even today, a portion of our family crest stands carved into the sandstone above the entryway: the leaping stag, bounded by two mulberry trees, with the year of renovation (1736) added reverentially above.

Today the estate lies in Bermersheim, a village of 300 in the southwestern-most tip of Rheinhessen.

Small, sleepy, and yet incredibly vibrant. This is where we live, this is our place. Our old farm was established over 200 years ago, and has been lovingly restored and expanded by each generation since. Here is where we press our grapes, mature our wines, and receive our guests.

„Small, sleepy, and yet incredibly vibrant. This is where we live, this is our place.“

„For us, this is a site of ease and relaxation, for wine-filled evenings with our friends. If you’ve ever visited us, then you know what we mean.“
